Cold Drip v's Cold Brew Bro

Coconut Iced Cold Brew

January Blab (aka blog)

"I want something cold today!"

"Would you like cold drip or a cold brew?"

"Ummm?"

"Would you like an iced white or iced black?"

"What's the difference?"

So really what's the friggin difference between cold brew & cold drip?
Tooooooooooo many questions but don't get confused, I'm going to give you TCR's answer...

Cold Drip is brewed in that beautiful glass tower that stands proud in your fave brew bar. A specific recipe is used to produce the sweet black nectar. Water is added to the top chamber & the flow rate of the water is adjusted to drip ever so slowly.
Every drop of water is absorbed by the ground coffee until it can't take anymore & begins to drip into the bottom chamber. The dark black essence is captured & served under a floating ice cube. The smooth liquor wanders over your tongue & the sweetness captures your soul.

Cold brew is the less aesthetically pleasing to watch but what it gives you in flavour is the bomb diggity! Cold brew is actually brewed in a 'bucket'. Water & coffee together, as one. An exact ratio of filtered water to coarsely ground coffee is fully immersed & left to seep for hours & hours. As the grounds slowly extract all of their goodness, the liquor becomes a syrupy, full bodied brew which can stand up to anything.

This deliciousness is now used as the base for our 'iced coffee' selection.
It's your choice of mylk (mylk: a medieval spelling of milk, the word is used to describe non-dairy milk products) or milk. Cows for the dairy heads or coconut mylk alternative.
Then we build...

Ice cube.
Coconut Sorbet or Vanilla Bean Gelato.
Coconut mylk or Dairy milk.
Intense cold brew.
Spoon.
Straw.
Apply to skull...
